Wycombe v Chesterfield preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Wycombe Wanderers and Chesterfield at Adams Park.

Wycombe manager Gary Waddock is set to pick from the same squad for the visit of high-flying Chesterfield. The Chairboys are on an encouraging run of form, having won their last three League Two encounters, and Waddock is likely to keep faith with the same side that beat Burton last weekend. Dave Winfield will be hoping for a start, however, after he was named on the bench against the Brewers following a bout of illness, while on-loan midfielder Scott Davies will also be hoping Waddock gives him the nod. Midfielder Stuart Green has been ruled out for six weeks after suffering an ankle injury in training, but having yet to feature for the first team this season, he is unlikely to have been involved anyway. Teenage striker Jordan Bowery is Chesterfield's only fresh injury problem ahead of the trip to in-form Wycombe. Bowery suffered a groin strain playing for the reserves against Notts County this week and will be assessed. Left-sided player Ian Morris came through the full game at Meadow Lane and is ready to be considered for his first start since sustaining an ankle injury on the opening day of the season. Defenders Ian Breckin and Rob Page, midfielders Dan Gray and Craig Clay and last weekend's injury-time goal hero Scott Boden all put in decent shifts in the reserves but are only likely to be in contention for places on the bench. Midfielder Mark Allott could return from a hamstring injury but forward Dean Morgan (groin) will be out for another month. Chesterfield won on their first visit to Adams Park in 1994 when Steve Norris scored the only goal. However, 11 trips to Buckinghamshire since then have failed to produce another victory.
