Barnsley boss Jose Morais could choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against Sheffield United on Saturday (kick-off 12.15pm).
The Reds' scheduled trip to Nottingham Forest was postponed this week and Morais has no new injury or suspension problems. Forward Mamadou Thiam is still receiving treatment for the unspecified injury which ruled him out of the recent home draw with Bristol City and defender Matt Mills (ankle) remains unavailable.
Goalkeeper Nick Townsend is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his hand in training.
Sheffield United midfielder Mark Duffy is hoping to recover from the groin strain which has kept him out of the last two matches. Defender Richard Stearman is unlikely to feature and will undergo a scan after sustaining a hamstring injury in Monday's home draw with Cardiff.
Jamal Blackman sits out the second game of his three-match ban, so Simon Moore will continue in goal. Billy Sharp and Jake Wright are among those pushing for recalls, while boss Chris Wilder has no other new injury problems.
Barnsley have only picked up one win in their last eight home league matches against the Blades (D4 L3).
Sheffield United haven't visited Oakwell in a Championship clash since December 2010, losing 1-0 to a goal from Hugo Colace.
Barnsley have won just one of their last 13 league games (D5 L7), keeping just two clean sheets in this run.
The Blades are unbeaten in their last 10 league games against sides from South Yorkshire (W7 D3).
Oliver McBurnie has scored six of Barnsley's last 10 league goals, although the on-loan Swansea striker hasn't found the net since February 13th.
Leon Clarke, who scored last time out vs Cardiff, has netted 16 league goals this season, only in 2012-13 (19) has he registered more in a single campaign.
