Manchester City are Manchester City. They'll never change the way they play, it'll always be the same, the formula is there, but Pep Guardiola has chopped and changed his team, but they've got Aymeric Laporte back - and scoring goals - and Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne back too.

I can see this being a painful send off for Norwich. I can see Manchester City being the exhibitionists this weekend.

    • Manchester City have won three of their last four home league games against Norwich (L1), netting 16 goals in total across these matches.
    • Norwich won the reverse fixture against Man City 3-2 in September - they've not done the league double against them since 1964-65 in the second tier, while the only reigning top-flight champion they've achieved this against was Liverpool in 1982-83.
    • Of all the Premier League fixtures to have been played at least 10 times since the year 2000, Man City v Norwich has the highest goals-per-game ratio (4.27 - 47 in 11 games).
    • Man City have lost just one of their last 11 closing day Premier League games (W8 D2), with that defeat coming at home to Norwich in 2012-13 - a season they were the reigning champions but had lost their title.
    • Excluding play-offs, Norwich have alternated between victory and defeat in their last seven final league games of a season (W4 L3), winning 2-1 against Aston Villa in the Championship last season.
