Fleetwood have signed Hull defender Harvey Rodgers on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old, who spent part of last season on loan at Accrington, will join the Cod Army on July 1 following the expiration of his contract with the Tigers.

"I'm very excited to join Fleetwood Town," Rodgers told the club's official website. "It went really well for me last season at Accrington but I feel like I need to step things up again now.

"I'm buzzing that (manager) Uwe (Rosler) and (technical director) Gretar (Steinsson) wanted to sign me.
