Thiago Silva says Kylian Mbappe could be a "very important" player for PSG, adding Neymar can win the Ballon d'Or at the club.
Mbappe has been linked with a host of top European clubs since bursting on to the scene last season, with recent reports suggesting PSG are favourites to land the 18-year-old forward should he leave Ligue 1 rivals Monaco this summer.
And Silva feels Mbappe, an unused substitute for Monaco in their weekend win at Dijon, could become an important player and a key addition for the Parisians if such a move materialised.
"He always wants to score, he has a great quality of dribble, and I think PSG is a team that loves that kind of player," PSG skipper Silva told Canal+.
"He could become a very important and very significant player for the squad. I see on TV that he has his head on his shoulders."
Neymar marked his first game since his world-record £198m move from Barcelona with a goal and an assist on Sunday as PSG beat Guingamp 3-0.
Silva admits he was keen to see his compatriot join the club and did his best to persuade the 25-year-old to move to Paris.
"I was in Brazil, calling every day. I told him that the club was ready to buy and there he was very happy and I believe that at the end he made the right decision," he added.
"Neymar can win the Ballon d'or in Paris. He came here for that and we are here to help."
