Fulham keeper eager to extend time in capital

Kasey Keller has spoken of a desire to sign a new deal at Fulham when his existing contract expires in the summer. The American keeper has forced his way past Antti Niemi to establish himself as first choice under Roy Hodgson at Craven Cottage. Keller, who has played in America, England, Spain and Germany in a well-travelled career, arrived in West London last year following a stint at Borussia Monchengladbach. While Fulham look as though they could be plying their trade in the Championship next term, Keller is keen to extend his stay in the capital regardless of their status.

Summer talks

"I've let the club know that I would definitely be willing to sit down and talk about next year, regardless of the situation that we are in," he told the club's official website. "And then once again it will be down to decision making factors; what's right for the club, what's right for myself and what's right for my family. "I'll try to figure it all out from there. I make decisions based on what's put in front of me, but those decisions will come in the future."
