Experienced defender to stay for the rest of the season
Leicester City have extended Marc Edworthy's contract at the club until the end of the season.
Edworthy linked up with the Foxes in November on a free transfer after being released by Derby County last summer.
He has made six appearances for the League One leaders and has impressed manager Nigel Pearson with his contribution.
"Marc has an excellent attitude and I am pleased that he has agreed to extend his stay with us," Pearson told the club's official website.
"He has worked extremely hard since joining us and is a valuable member of our squad."
On Monday, Pearson extended the deal of another veteran full-back - Chris Powell - to the end of the campaign.
