And it's those doubts that have seen Milan's dynamic left-back De Sciglio linked with a move to Merseyside. 

It has been reported that the Reds are readying a £16m bid for the Italy international, who has also attracted interest from Napoli.

The agent of Ricardo Rodriguez has confirmed that there is a release clause in his Wolfsburg contract.

Gianluca Di Domenico, Rodriguez's representative told TMW Radio: "Today, Ricardo Rodriguez has a termination clause, which was not there before. You have to respect the contracts."

The Switzerland international defender, who played 90 minutes as his country opened up their Euro 2016 campaign with a 1-0 win over Albania, could be available for £19m.
