Huddersfield manager David Wagner and Barnsley midfielder Conor Hourihane have been named as the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month for August.
Terriers boss Wagner takes his award after guiding Huddersfield to the top of the Championship table, with four wins and a draw from their opening five league fixtures.
"Everyone here has worked unbelievably hard during pre-season and during August and they have earned the results that the team enjoyed," he said.
"We are workers, not dreamers, so nobody here is getting carried away."
Meanwhile Hourihane, who was named Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for August 2014, has once again been rewarded after helping newly-promoted Barnsley to third in the table.
The Irishman has already scored two goals at the start of the season while his pinpoint passing has helped to create three others.
In Sky Bet League One, Phil Parkinson has been named as Manager of the Month after he led Bolton to the top of the table with 13 points from five unbeaten matches in August.
Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "Parkinson was one of the longest serving managers in the country when Bolton approached Bradford City for his services and managed to wrestle him away.
"In his few months at the helm, he has shown exactly why he was rated so highly and already looks to have vindicated the owners' decision in bringing him in."
Scunthorpe midfielder Josh Morris has taken the players' award for the division after notching an impressive total of five goals during the first month of the campaign.
Sky Bet League Two's manager award goes to Morecambe boss Jim Bentley, who had guided his side to top spot in the table with four wins from five, before Saturday's narrow 2-1 loss against Leyton Orient.
Meanwhile, James Coppinger has been named as Player of the Month for August after scoring two and setting up three others for Doncaster.
"I was buzzing to be nominated for Player of the Month, and to win is brilliant," he said.
"To get this at the same time as I hopefully make my 500th appearance for this special club is a real honour."
