Amad arrived at Old Trafford in January after a £37m fee was agreed with Serie A side Atalanta the previous October.
The 19-year-old has made eight appearances for United, scoring once, but may find his first-team opportunities limited following the arrival of Jadon Sancho earlier in the summer window.

Garner in new contract talks
James Garner is in talks over a new contract at Manchester United, and if that can be completed before Deadline Day, he will then be allowed out on loan - with Nottingham Forest one possible destination.
The 20-year-old midfielder was given a chance to impress manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday.
Garner came off the bench for the final 30 minutes in United's 3-1 friendly win against Burnley.
He is highly thought of at Old Trafford, but Solksjaer wants him to gain more experience before he includes him in his first-team plans.
Garner initially stalled on any new contract talks, because he is desperate to play more regular football, but with a year left on his current deal - and an option in the club's favour to extend it by a further year - it now looks like a deal could be agreed.
Forest are keen to take Garner back to the City Ground. He impressed during a loan spell after signing in January.
Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is finalising a season-long loan move to Brazilian club Flamengo.
Pereira was an unused substitute as United opened their Premier League season with a 5-1 win over Leeds on Saturday.
The 25-year-old's contract at Old Trafford runs until the summer of 2023, with United holding an option of extending it by a further year.
The Brazilian spent last season at Serie A club Lazio and a move to Flamengo will be the fourth time he has been loaned out by United following spells at Granada and Valencia.
