That prompted Scotland International Robertson to send Alfie a signed Roberto Firmino match shirt along with a personal letter thanking him for his selfless gesture.

In the letter, Robertson said Alfie's gesture was amazing and something that will stay with him for a long time because food banks are an issue that are close to his heart.

He added that Alfie had done Liverpool proud and also joked that he was sending him Firmino's shirt because nobody wants the left-back's shirt!
