After Dejan Lovren suffered a hamstring injury in Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup, the Reds are looking to bring Burnley's James Tarkowski in on a loan deal, according to The Sun.

However, the Lancashire side are understood to be keen to keep hold of their central defender who they reportedly value at £50m.

Reports in Germany, cited by The Mirror, say Liverpool are looking to sign Bayern Munich's James Rodriguez to bolster their attacking options. The 27-year-old is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League with his game-time limited in the Bundesliga.

Rangers could turn Ryan Kent's loan deal into a permanent one at the end of the season, reports the Daily Record.

Rangers director of football Mark Allen said: "We would certainly like to pursue what we do next with Ryan but that is a conversation we have to have with Liverpool.

"He is their player but we have a very good relationship with Liverpool and it is dialogue that will continue for the foreseeable future."
