Liverpool defenders Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold are still not ready to make returns from injury, says Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp is hopeful Alexander-Arnold will be able to return to first team training from a knee problem in the coming days, but admits Gomez, who has been sidelined with a leg fracture suffered in December, is unlikely to be back in contention before the Champions League last-16 first leg with Bayern Munich on February 19.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference before Liverpool travel to West Ham on Monday night, live on Sky Sports, Klopp said: "Both not (ready). No return for Joe.
"Trent is getting better and better, really close, I hope he is in full training next week. But not for now."
When asked whether the Bayern home clash would be a realistic target for Gomez to aim for, Klopp replied: "No, I don't think so. After that any time, but we will see."
Klopp would also not be drawn on recent celebrations from Manchester City player Kyle Walker, who took to Twitter to joke about Liverpool failing to go seven points clear at the top of the table after Wednesday's draw against Leicester, before deleting his comments.
Klopp did not condemn the behaviour, but insisted it was not his way of seeing the game.
"It says more about the other person. I never celebrate another teams dropping points or losing a game, that's not allowed," he said.
"I never ask anyone to clear one side of pitch and leave the other. That's how I understand sport. It's nothing to criticise from my point of view as I don't understand it."
