The Japan international recently claimed that the Gunners have been in contact with him regarding a possible move to north London next season after missing out on the signature of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

After scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1 last season, Alexandre Lacazette appears to have caught the attentions of several clubs around Europe.

West Ham are still interested in signing Lacazette, according to Sky sources, but they have not made an improved bid to match his reported price tag of £43.5m (€52m).

Could Arsenal now make a move?

3. Sam Byram (West Ham United) - 2.4

He may have only moved to West Ham from Leeds on a four-and-a-half year deal in January, but Byram is reportedly being lined up as a replacement for Hector Bellerin by Wenger.

Bellerin has been linked with a move to Barcelona, which could pave the way for 22-year-old Byram to move to the Emirates in his place.

However, the young defender made only four appearances at Upton Park last season, and the Hammers will see him as one for the future at the Olympic Stadium.
