Bolton's players and staff are still waiting to be paid their February wages which were due on Thursday, according to Sky sources.

The club's staff and players have yet to be told when they are expected to receive their February wages.

Bolton have been beset by financial difficulties this season, and players went on strike last summer, after wages had not been paid.

Payments were also delayed in November before this latest issue which the club have yet to comment on.

On Sunday, it was announced chairman Ken Anderson had an agreement in principle had been reached to sell his shares in the Sky Bet Championship club.
