Mauricio Pochettino says he does not expect Tottenham to add to their squad before Thursday's transfer deadline.
The Spurs manager was questioned about Tottenham's pursuit of any potential targets after their 2-1 win over Watford at Wembley, with influential players Harry Kane and Dele Alli still expected to remain absent for at least another month.
But Pochettino quashed any lingering hopes of his side making a first signing since Lucas Moura joined from Paris Saint-Germain on January 31 last year.
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is expected to complete a loan move to Monaco on Deadline Day but Pochettino denied any knowledge of the transfer, with Vincent Janssen also likely to join Real Betis.
Pochettino said: "No, I don't know anything. I am going to talk now with my chief scout Steve Hitchen, I am going to ask for some news.
"I expect that maybe some players are going to leave but I do not expect that we are going to add to the squad. I am going to talk because I want some news, but not because I am expecting to sign a player."
Earlier in the transfer window the Spurs manager, who has spent a net £18m in the four and a half years since he became manager, said the club must "operate in a different way" if they had genuine hopes of winning the Premier League title.
