Tottenham defender Matt Doherty will miss the end of the season after rupturing his medial collateral ligament (MCL) during Saturday's win over Aston Villa.
Doherty was able to walk off the pitch in the first half after a tackle from Matty Cash during the first-half, but the 30-year-old is set to miss 12 weeks with the knee injury.
It is a blow for Antonio Conte's side as Doherty had been in good form in recent weeks, with two goals and three assists in his last five games as Tottenham moved up to fourth, three points above rivals Arsenal in fifth.

The 4-0 hammering of Aston Villa on Saturday, which included a Heung-Min Son hat-trick, was their sixth victory in seven Premier League matches which has significantly boosted their top-four hopes.
Doherty's injury at Villa Park was the only blight on another fine performance as the Republic of Ireland international hobbled off in just the 21st minute with Tottenham 1-0 up following Son's early opener. He was later seen leaving the stadium wearing a knee brace.
