Northern Ireland striker Will Grigg has signed a two-year extension at Wigan Athletic.
The 26-year-old's present deal was due to run out at the end of the season but he has now committed to the League One club until the summer of 2020.
Wigan manager Paul Cook told the club website: "This is absolutely great news for the club.
"Will is a proven goalscorer, a superb professional and is a key part of the squad. This was one of the priorities of the summer and I thank the chairman and the club for making this possible.
"To have this kind of commitment from Will is a huge shot in the arm for the team, the club and all the Wigan Athletic supporters."
Grigg has scored 35 goals for the club in 85 appearances since signing from Brentford two years ago.
He has yet to play the full 90 minutes this season as he steps up his recovery from the knee injury he suffered in March.
