Bristol City boss Lee Johnson says his side will get even better after they rescued a 2-2 draw at Rotherham.
City cleared a two-goal deficit after the Millers had capitalised on two defensive blunders.
Izzy Brown put Rotherham ahead after six minutes when he nipped in between a static Aden Flint and goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell.
Flint then diverted Greg Halford's weak shot into his own net on 58 minutes.
Tammy Abraham dragged City back into the contest with a close-range finish on 74 minutes and the comeback was complete when Bobby Reid poked home Joe Bryan's cross with six minutes to go.
A delighted Johnson said he was pleased with the progress of his Ashton Gate side.
"We have come back from 2-0 down and are still disappointed, which is a great positive," he said.
"You could look at it and think a draw is a good result. I wanted to win.
"Concentration and communication has killed us with the goals we've conceded.
"I am pleased with how we have started. We are signing good players who can learn and I know we are going to get better.
"There are good teams in this league, we will take the odd pasting and give out a pasting or two.
"If we can keep the spirit, who knows where that can take us? We will just continue to keep trying to improve individuals and team tactics.
"Both goals were poor to concede, these things do happen and I'm not going to label blame anywhere and will focus on the positives.
"We could have been demoralised, but we kept going and kept believing."
Rotherham boss Alan Stubbs hid his frustration and said the draw could prove to be a valuable point.
"I can understand the frustration of the fans after the game, but there has to be some realism," he said.
"The Championship has become an even harder league and it is harder to compete, you are fighting an uphill battle.
"When you look at the bigger picture this could be a valuable point. We were playing a good team who have spent this summer.
"We had chances to make it three and that's the difference. At 3-0 you go on to win the game.
"They got themselves back into the game and you have to give Bristol City credit.
"We have to be realistic, there is always a frustration when you lose a 2-0 lead, but we are coming up against a team who want to be in the play-offs. It takes us out of the bottom three and could be a good point when you look back on it."
