Brighton are expected to confirm the appointment of Graham Potter as the club's new manager at a press conference on Monday at 4:30pm.
The Swansea boss is set to replace Chris Hughton, who was sacked last Monday after finishing 17th in the Premier League.
Swansea had offered Potter a new contract after an initial approach from Brighton was rejected.
However, a second approach for the former Ostersunds FK boss was successful and he is set to land his first Premier League job.
Brighton chairman Tony Bloom had wanted to appoint a new manager as quickly as possible to aid pre-season planning ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Potter helped stabilise Swansea after they were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2017/18 season.
He guided them to a 10th-place finish in the Sky Bet Championship and an FA Cup quarter-final appearance, where they lost 3-2 to Manchester City having established a shock 2-0 lead.
