Neymar could make his long-awaited comeback from injury for Paris Saint-Germain against Monaco on Sunday, says Thomas Tuchel.

The Brazil international has not played since he picked up a metatarsal injury during a 2-0 French Cup win over Strasbourg in January, but he could return to face Monaco at the Parc des Princes as PSG attempt to secure the Ligue 1 title.

"He has been working hard, with a good mindset. We could get him back as soon as Sunday," Tuchel told a news conference.

Neymar's potential comeback will give PSG a significant boost ahead of the French Cup final against Rennes, as well as increasing the striker's chances of being fully fit ahead of this summer's Copa America in Brazil.

"I'm feeling good," was the simple message the 27-year-old posted on social media to accompany footage of him in training.

Neymar scored 13 goals in 13 appearances in Ligue 1 this season before his injury and as well as his absence, Edinson Cavani and several other key players have recently been missing for the French champions.

Tuchel's side have picked up just one point from their last three league games but they currently lead second-placed Lille by 17 points, despite being thrashed 5-1 by them last Sunday.

According to reports, on Sunday PSG players will be wearing home shirts showing 'Notre-Dame de Paris' logos after the fire that ravaged the iconic French landmark on Monday evening.

Previously, following the 2015 Paris attacks, the French side wore shirts with 'Je Suis Paris' across the front for a short period of time.
