Erin Cuthbert scored twice as Scotland Women maintained their pursuit of World Cup qualifying Group 2 leaders Switzerland with a 2-1 win over Belarus on Thursday.

Belarus took the lead against the run of play at Falkirk Stadium with 27 minutes gone when Karina Olkhovik's shot from distance evaded keeper Lee Alexander and went in off the underside of the crossbar.

But the home side, who had hit both the post and the bar in quick succession through Jane Ross and Lisa Evans, were level on the stroke of half-time when Chelsea's Cuthbert struck from a tight angle, and she doubled her tally 20 minutes after the restart to complete the fightback.

Kayleigh Green kept Wales' bid for World Cup qualification on track as she fired them to a 1-0 victory over Bosnia.

After a goalless first half at Swansea's Liberty Stadium, the game surged into life, with Helen Ward seeing her 54th-minute penalty saved before Yeovil's Green fired her side into the lead from close range eight minutes later.
