Manchester City's director of football Txiki Begiristain has been in London to wrap up a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

The report says that City will be prepared to wait for Sanchez as they believe Arsenal will try and make it difficult for a deal to be done that would keep him in the Premier League and would prefer him to go abroad.

The newspaper reports that Arsene Wenger has been handed a £150m budget after agreeing a two-year deal to stay at the Emirates.

Wenger also is keen to make Riyad Mahrez his first signing of the summer, according to the Mirror.

Arsenal have agreed a £6.8m fee with Belgian club KAS Eupen for Nigeria striker Henry Onyekuru, according to Sky sources.

The Gunners have been in talks with the Belgian club since last week, having led a string of Premier League teams interested in the 19-year-old.
