Former Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole has joined Macclesfield Town's coaching staff on a part-time basis.
Cole will link up with former team-mate Sol Campbell, who was appointed as manager of the League Two club in November.
The 47-year-old won 11 major honours during his playing career, including five Premier Leagues and a Champions League, and scored 289 goals.
Cole will attempt to inspire the joint-worst attack in Sky Bet League Two, with the Silkmen having scored 25 goals in 28 games.
Macclesfield sit second-bottom, three points adrift of safety, and face Oldham Athletic at Moss Rose on Saturday.
