Team news, key stats and prediction ahead of Tottenham vs Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Team news
Tottenham will be without Ben Davies for Jose Mourinho's first home Premier League game in charge, and the defender could need surgery on his ankle ligaments after he limped off during last weekend's win against West Ham.
Erik Lamela (hamstring) is close to a return to training while Hugo Lloris (elbow) and Michel Vorm (calf) are continuing their rehabilitation.
Bournemouth will be without Joshua King (hamstring) and David Brooks (ankle ligaments) for the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, Ryan Fraser (leg) and Dominic Solanke (hamstring) should be fit to feature after picking up knocks.
Simon Francis and Philip Billing will be suspended for the game, due to a sending off and five yellow cards accrued respectively. Both will serve a one match ban.

Opta stats
- Tottenham have won all four of their Premier League home games against Bournemouth by an aggregate score of 13-0.
- Bournemouth have won just one of their eight Premier League meetings with Spurs (D1 L6), though it did come in their last such game in May thanks to Nathan Ake's 90th minute winner.
- Following their victory against West Ham last time out, Tottenham are looking to secure back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season, last doing so in April this year.
- Tottenham have kept fewer clean sheets than any other Premier League side this season (1), with that shutout coming against Crystal Palace in September. The last time they had kept just one clean sheet in their opening 13 Premier League games was in 2012-13 under Andre Villas-Boas.
- Bournemouth have lost their last two Premier League games, with the Cherries last losing three in a row back in December 2018 (a run of four).
- Tottenham have faced 76 shots on target in the Premier League this season, with only West Ham (77) and Norwich (83) facing more. Indeed, Spurs' record of facing 5.8 shots on target per game is their highest in a Premier League campaign since 2002-03, when we have this data on record.
- Eight of Bournemouth's 16 Premier League goals this season have come from set-piece situations (excluding penalties), the highest number and highest ratio (50%) in the division.
- Tottenham's Harry Kane has scored seven goals in his six Premier League games against Bournemouth, though six of those strikes came in his first three meetings with them.
- This will be Tottenham manager José Mourinho's first home league match in charge of the club. None of the last five permanent Tottenham managers have lost their first such game (W3 D2) since Martin Jol lost 2-3 against Charlton in November 2004.
- Since the start of last season, Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser has provided more assists than any other player in the Premier League (17).
Charlie Nicholas' prediction
Who will benefit from Jose Mourinho coming in? The first guy who came to my mind was Eric Dier. He sits and protects and you can play him at centre-back if you have to as well. He took him off against Olympiakos but he initially played him and will continue to do so. They were lucky with Dele Alli - it was a mistimed shot that propelled the midweek comeback in reality for Tottenham.
They are not a million miles away from the top six and could threaten the top four, but the defence is still not right. Jose Mourinho is carrying them along at the moment. They won at West Ham, came back from two down against Olympiakos, but have conceded four goals in two games and that isn't his style.
He hasn't had much time to work on the defence, so who will he pick? Just with fabric of strength they have in attack, I believe they will get the three points. Alli might have some belief back and Harry Kane is back scoring so it is another win and more momentum for Jose.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 3-1 (10/1 with Sky Bet)

Heung-min Son (£10.5m) has 25 points in his last two matches, firing in two goals and one assist in that period. He is on the same points as Harry Kane and comes in at £1.5m cheaper, so he could be worth an investment. Play here for free.
