Tottenham are no longer a one-man team, says Paul Merson

Paul Merson believes Tottenham no longer rely on one player and have quality throughout their squad.
Tottenham are currently on an 11-game unbeaten run, with a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on the opening day of the Premier League season Spurs' only loss so far.
Spurs are also unbeaten in their last four matches against London opposition as they prepare to face West Ham live on Super Sunday.
Mauricio Pochettino's side most recently drew with North London rivals Arsenal 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium and currently sit in fifth place.
And Merson believes Tottenham no longer rely on one player - citing Gareth Bale's influence before his transfer to Real Madrid in 2013 - but now have high quality players throughout their starting XI.
"Not long ago you would have said Tottenham have a one-man team," Merson told Soccer Saturday.
"They have a top class goalie [Hugo Lloris], two unbelievable centre-halfs [Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen], they have one of the best holding midfield players in England at the moment with Eric Dier, and they have an unbelievable midfield player in [Dele] Alli who runs and runs and runs."
Merson's only slight criticism was for Tottenham's Christian Eriksen, who he believes could improve his work-rate.
He added: "For me, they've got a good number 10 who just needs to do a little bit more [Christian] Eriksen, I think he gets a little bit lazy and waits for things to happen first, and then you've got a top draw centre forward [Harry Kane].
"Being an ex-Arsenal man [I'm worried] this Tottenham team is coming together."
