Team news and stats for the latest round of the WSL, including Arsenal vs Birmingham and Reading vs Tottenham on Sunday.

Man Utd vs West Ham - Sunday, 12pm

Manchester United remain without defender Millie Turner for the Sunday lunchtime game against West Ham, but have no fresh injury concerns.

Manager Marc Skinner has named an unchanged side for the last three games, using a centre-back partnership of Hayley Ladd and Maria Thorisdottir in Turner's absence.

West Ham expected to remain unchanged for the trip to Manchester United.

They were without centre-back Gilly Flaherty against Reading last time out, with wing-back Kate Longhurst filling in as part of the back three, alongside Hawa Cissoko and Fisk

  • Manchester United have won two of their last three FA WSL matches against West Ham United (D1) since losing their first meeting in December 2019 at Rush Green (2-3).
  • The only previous FA WSL meeting between Man Utd and West Ham in Manchester took place at Old Trafford in March 2021, with the Red Devils winning 2-0 with goals from Lauren James and Christen Press.
  • Manchester United have won their last six home FA WSL matches, their best ever home winning run in the competition. They've scored 21 goals across this run while conceding just once since losing 2-0 in November 2021 against Arsenal.
  • West Ham have never won a FA Women's Super League in May in three attempts (D1 L2), failing to score in all three games (0-4 vs Brighton 2019, 0-0 vs Aston Villa & 0-1 vs Man City in 2021). They have won a match in every month they've competed in other than May.

Leicester vs Reading - Sunday, 2pm

Abbie McManus - who was replaced by Sam Tierney last time out - is expected to return to the Leicester starting lineup, while Natasha Flint could be joined by Shannon O'Brien in attack.

Deanne Rose, Dowie and Amalie Eikeland are expected to make up the Royals' forward three to cause problems for the Leicester backline.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa - Sunday, 2.15pm

Rafaelle has missed the last seven matches for Arsenal and is set to continue on the sidelines for Sunday's match, meanwhile, Tobin Heath had her contract terminated in order to recover from a hamstring injury.

Gunners head coach Jonas Eidevall is expected to name an unchanged lineup.

Meanwhile, Remi Allen will miss the rest of the season due to an ACL injury, along with Anna Patten, who has glandular fever.

Anita Asante - who announced her retirement earlier this week - will skipper the side for the final two matches of the season.

Arsenal Women head coach Jonas Eidevall says he did not watch Chelsea's WSL win over Tottenham and insists his full focus is on his own side's results as the title race reaches a conclusion.

  • Arsenal have won two of their three FA Women's Super League matches against Aston Villa (D1), with both those wins coming away from home, winning 4-0 in both February and October 2021.
  • Aston Villa's only previous away FA WSL match against Arsenal ended 0-0 in May last year - the Villans haven't scored a single goal against the Gunners in three games, attempting just 11 efforts at goal and only one on target, both their lowest tallies against any WSL opponent.
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 13 home FA WSL matches (W11 D2), scoring 36 times and conceding just six in those games. The Gunners last had a longer unbeaten home run between October 2016 and November 2018 (18 in a row).
  • Aston Villa have won three of their last four away FA WSL matches (L1), one more than in their previous 14 combined (D4 L8).

Birmingham vs Chelsea - Sunday, 6.45pm - Live on Sky Sports Football

Lucy Whipp and Cecilie Sandvej returned to Birmingham training this week, but Sunday's contest may come too soon for the pair.

Sarah Ewens is expected to be included in the squad again after being an unused substitute in last week's 3-1 win over Brighton.

Fran Kirby is Chelsea's only known absentee ahead of the game against Birmingham.

Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder came into the starting lineup for Thursday's win over Tottenham to send Chelsea four points clear at the top of the WSL and are expected to feature on Sunday.

  • Chelsea have won 12 FA Women's Super League matches against Birmingham, only winning more against Bristol City (13). They have won their last five in a row without conceding, scoring 20 goals.
  • Birmingham haven't scored a home FA WSL goal against Chelsea in their last seven home games against them, a run which stands at 643 minutes since a Jo Potter goal in May 2014. Everton vs Tottenham - Sunday, 7.30pm

Everton's Kenza Dali is expected to return to the starting lineup against Tottenham, while Gabrielle George is expected to maintain her starting spot after coming back into the team in the defeat to Arsenal.

Tottenham's Ria Percival has been ruled out for the rest of the season, which could see Eveliina Summanen regain her place in the starting XI after being replaced by Maeva Clemaron in Thursday's defeat to Chelsea.
