David Prutton's Sky Bet EFL predictions

David Prutton returns with his Sky Bet EFL predictions ahead of the weekend fixtures, but who is he tipping for victory?
Aston Villa vs Ipswich, Saturday 3pm
We're seeing an alarming run of form for Aston Villa, who haven't won a game now in any competition since beating Swansea on Boxing Day.
It is starting to look like a hopeless situation for Ipswich, though, so this should be a relatively straightforward home win.
Prutton predicts: 2-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)
Blackburn vs Hull, Saturday 3pm
Blackburn are well over their dip now, and are back on the up after three straight victories. Whether they can get back into play-off contention, though, remains to be seen.
Hull's winning run came to an end last week, but a draw at Villa Park is never a bad thing. These two both have 40 points heading into the weekend and I can't really split them. Score draw.
Prutton predicts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
Norwich vs Sheffield United, Saturday 3pm
Norwich got back to winning ways with a commanding performance against Birmingham last Friday night, getting themselves back up above Sheffield United in the process.
This is a big game for the Blades, who could find themselves six points off the top two again if they lose at Carrow Road. It will be tight, but I am backing the home side to edge it.
Prutton predicts: 2-1 (17/2 with Sky Bet)
Nottingham Forest vs Wigan, Saturday 3pm
It wasn't a good start for Martin O'Neill last week, as his side fell to a home defeat against Bristol City. It's not the return to the City Ground he would have been hoping for, to say the least!
He has another chance to get a win at home against Wigan, who are dreadful on the road. They have picked up just five points away all season, and I can't imagine they will add to it on Saturday.
Prutton predicts: 1-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
Rotherham vs Leeds, Saturday 3pm
Rotherham were drawing too many games until not too long ago, but now those draws seem to be turning into defeats, and they have slipped down to just above the relegation zone as a result.
Leeds will see this as a great opportunity to get back to winning ways. Despite Rotherham's excellent home form, Marcelo Bielsa's side will have too much quality for them.
Prutton predicts: 1-2 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
Stoke vs Preston, Saturday 3pm
That was a big, big win for Stoke last week. Not only was it over the Championship leaders in Leeds, but it was also vital for Nathan Jones to get off the mark as quickly as possible.
Preston are so smart at recruiting from the lower leagues, and Brad Potts and Jayden Stockley both look like good additions to Alex Neil's squad. I fancy them for a point.
Prutton predicts: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)
Peterborough vs Charlton, Saturday 3pm
Peterborough looked like automatic promotion contenders earlier in the season, but they have lacked consistency in the last couple of months.
They could also slip out of the play-off places if they are beaten by Charlton, who are in excellent form and could pose a threat to the top two themselves. That being said, I think this will be a draw.
Prutton predicts: 1-1 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
Bury vs Lincoln, Saturday 5.30pm - Live on Sky Sports Football
What a big game in store at Gigg Lane! It is second vs first.
Bury are flying at the minute, having won four on the spin, and look the main contenders for automatic promotion behind Lincoln. I reckon they could sneak this one.
Prutton predicts: 3-2 (28/1 with Sky Bet)
