Torino fail in striker approach
Reports in Italy suggest that Manchester City have rejected a bid from Torino for Rolando Bianchi.
The Serie A outfit are believed to have enquired about taking the striker on a season-long loan, with the option to make the move permanent next summer.
However, City have snubbed the approach as they are keen to part with the 25-year-old in return for an immediate fee.
Genoa are another side rumoured to have expressed an interest in a player who spent the second half of last season on loan at Lazio.
The Rossoblu are reported to have offered City 4.5million euros (£3.5m) to take the forward back to Italy on a full-time basis.
Bianchi appears to have no future at the City Manchester of Stadium, but it is unclear as to whether the Premier League side would be willing to accept a bid which is substantially lower than the £8.8million they shelled out just over a year ago.
