Posh look to push for promotion, while Bulls bid to beat the drop

Peterborough host Hereford at London Road looking to break into the play-off pack, while Graham Turner's Bulls are desperate for points at the wrong end of the table. Posh boss Darren Ferguson has been boosted this week by the return to training of Chris Westwood and Dean Keates, following knee and calf problems respectively. However, it is thought neither of the pair will be risked against the Bulls - although they should be in contention for the FA Cup clash with Hornchurch. Ferguson also confirmed that Shane Blackett is set to see a surgeon after he dislocated his right shoulder twice in little over a month. The defender remains a long-term absentee for Posh with Jamie Day (back) also on the treatment table. Aaron Mclean and Craig Mackail-Smith will continue in attack although playmaker Sergio Torres is pushing his claims for a starting place.

Bulls news

Hereford will be without striker Nick Chadwick after the 26-year-old was sent off after receiving two bookings during Tuesday's last-gasp 1-0 defeat at Millwall. Boss Turner has vowed to 'start again with a new selection at Peterborough' having seen signs of fatigue among his side of late. Defender Richard Jackson and striker Moses Ashikodi both remain out with hamstring problems, while defenders Sam Oji (knee) and Robbie Threlfall (broken foot) are long-term absentees. Ben Smith is expected to stand in for Jackson, while Sam Gwynne, Andy Williams, Stephen O'Leary, Matt Done and Stephen Guinan are all pushing for recalls to Turner's starting XI against a Posh side who are unbeaten in their last 10 league games.
