Helder Postiga scored twice as Real Zaragoza roared back from two goals down to beat 10-man Deportivo la Coruna 5-3 in a crazy game at La Romareda. The visitors had gone into an early 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Bruno Gama and Riki, but Apono brought Zaragoza back into the game from the penalty spot before half-time. Pizzi was then shown a second yellow card for diving four minutes into the second period, and the hosts made their man advantage pay in spectacular style as Paco Montanes and Alvaro Gonzalez put them 3-2 in front before Postiga bulleted in two headers from excellent crosses by Victor Rodriguez. Rodolfo Bodipo got one back for Depor in the last attack of the game but it mattered little, as Zaragoza moved into the top half of the table with their fourth victory in five games. The severity of Depor's problems off the field had been disclosed earlier in the week, with the Spanish tax authorities placing an embargo of most of the club's revenue streams. However, it appeared those problems were not going to translate on to the pitch early on and Jose Luis Oltra's men took advantage of some woeful Zaragoza defending to go 2-0 up. Gama, who had got his first goal of the season in the 1-0 win over Mallorca last weekend, doubled his tally for the season on 13 minutes as he raced on to Pizzi's pass before sweetly placing the ball over the advancing Roberto. Riki made it two eight minutes later with his fourth goal of the season as he pounced on a short passback from Franco Zuculini to again leave Roberto helpless, but the hosts were given a lifeline when Tiago Pinto unnecessarily handled inside his own box and Apono's spot-kick just had enough power to see it past Daniel Aranzubia. Pizzi then stupidly got himself sent off attempting to win his own side a penalty after just four minutes of the second half, and in his absence Depor fell apart as they conceded four times in 22 minutes. Montanes brought Zaragoza level with a volley from Jose Maria Movilla's cross on the hour mark before from another set-piece Alvaro nodded in at the near post from Victor's ball in. And the former Barcelona man was also the creator for both Postiga's goals in the final 13 minutes as the Portuguese international firstly headed home and the back post before thundering in another header off the underside of the bar eight minutes from time. Bodipo rescued a little respectability for Depor in stoppage time with a neat finish from Gama's cross, but the Galicians remain in trouble and slip back into the bottom three.
