Phil Neville set to announce England Women World Cup squad

England Women are set for an anxious wait as Phil Neville announces his 23-player squad for this summer's World Cup at midday on Wednesday.
The eighth edition of the tournament takes place in France between June 7 and July 7 and will see 24 teams divided into six groups of four.
England are placed in Group D alongside Scotland, Argentina and Japan, with the top two qualifying automatically for the knockout stages.
Following an impressive SheBelieves Cup, which saw the Lionesses lift the trophy, Neville's side are one of the pre-tournament favourites, aiming to improve on their semi-final appearance four years ago.
Sky Sources understand the players have been told they'll know the final squad at around 8am via email - although most of the players in and out of the squad will have spoken to Neville beforehand.
The announcement will be made via various social media videos from 8am onwards, with the full squad finalised by midday alongside a maximum of five players on a reserve list in case of any injury withdrawals.
However, Neville will definitely be without influential midfielder Jordan Nobbs who suffered a serious knee injury in November, while there are also concerns surrounding Izzy Christiansen's fitness.
The Lyon midfielder hasn't played since ankle surgery in March but is being given every opportunity to prove her fitness ahead of the first group game on June 9 against Scotland.
