Sky Sports News HQ understands Reading have accepted a bid for their top scorer Nick Blackman from Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls are hoping to push into the Sky Bet Championship play-off places and are keen to tie up a deal for the striker, who has scored 11 goals for Reading so far this season.
Sky sources say Wednesday had an offer for Brentford midfielder Alan Judge rejected on Monday.
Blackman is now set for talks with Carlos Carvalhal's side, who hope to conclude a deal before their FA Cup tie at Fulham on Saturday.
The 26-year-old, who started his career at Macclesfield Town, moved to the Madejski Stadium in 2013 after a year at Sheffield United.
He scored a last-gasp winner to help Reading move into the top half of the table as they beat struggling Bristol City 1-0 at the weekend.
