Norwich have agreed a deal to sign Dinamo Zagreb's Portuguese defender Ivo Pinto for a fee in the region of £2.2m, according to Sky sources.
It is understood the paperwork has not been completed yet but the deal is expected to be finalised imminently.
The Premier League side are thought to have beaten off competition from Stuttgart and Anderlecht for the 25-year-old right-back.
The former Portugal U21 international joined Zagreb on a four-year deal from Cluj two years ago and was part of the team that faced Arsenal twice in the Champions League this season.
Speaking in 2013, then Dinamo coach Krunoslav Jurcic said: "He is very solid in defence and he likes to join the attack so we think he will bring us some power on the flank, which is very important in football."
