Paul Pogba is putting pressure on Jose Mourinho at Manchester United with public comments, says Louis Saha.
Pogba and Mourinho had a frosty exchange on the training pitch last month, with the United manager also involved in a vice-captaincy debate surrounding the midfielder.
In September, Pogba encouraged Mourhino to let United "attack, attack, attack", although France boss Didier Deschamps says the pair's relationship has been exaggerated.
"I think he (Pogba) has done it (public comments) on purpose, and I don't think that is right," said Saha, speaking at the AFDP Spirit of Soccer launch.
"It's the wrong communication, it puts pressure on the manager... with those talks you should do it in the dressing room with your manager.
"You know that people will question about it, so don't do it. This is my opinion and I would have said that to him, I would say 'no, that's not something to say because you are not the manager'."
Saha also feels the situation at United has become impacted by the clashing of egos, though believes the issues on the sides of the players and the manager can be resolved.
"Sometimes I see a bit too much ego, as a fan sometimes I find it very disturbing. Yes, I think there are things that should not be done from the players' side and from the manager and above.
"There is definitely things going on where [it] is completely wrong and there is so much potential that you still have hope that things can be fixed."
Saha is not the only fellow Frenchman to speak out, after Robert Pires this week urged Pogba to remain quiet and be professional.
"For Paul Pogba, the best is to say nothing," Pires told Reuters, during a trip to India as a La Liga ambassador.
"He's a great player. If Man United paid a lot of money for him, it's because he's a good player.
"His relation with the manager may not be so good but he's a professional. It's very important for him to be focussed on Man United, on the pitch."
