Frank Lampard says he is not concerned by Derby's dip in form, despite losing three games in a row

Frank Lampard claims there is "no crisis" at Derby, despite the promotion hopefuls enduring a run of five matches without a win.

The Rams went down 4-0 at Aston Villa on Saturday - a result that leaves them seventh in the Championship, three points outside the play-offs.

Derby will look to end their winless run at home to Wigan on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports, and speaking ahead of that game, Lampard said: "It's a challenge - but three losses and being three points away from the play-offs is no crisis.

"We have to have context, while knowing only we can affect it, to get the performances and results we want.

"Hard work, focus. There's not much time. For us, it's more of a mentality thing. We have to accept we were well below par, take those lessons on the chin, and have a big reaction, in terms of passion, fight and the energy with which they play."

Derby's match against Wigan is the first of four successive home games for them, and Lampard has called on the team's supporters to provide an advantage.

"Home games are great, and four in a row looks good on paper but we will need the help of the fans," said Lampard.
