West Brom are hoping to clinch a loan deal for Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen before the transfer window shuts, Sky Sports News understands.

The 28-year-old is travelling to the West Midlands to complete the deal before 11pm on Thursday.

He has made 13 appearances (five starts) for Fulham this season but has not played for the Cottagers since appearing as a late substitute in their 2-0 defeat to West Ham on December 15.

Johansen, who has 46 caps for Norway, joined Fulham from Celtic in August 2016.

West Brom have brought in one player so far this month - defender Mason Holgate joining on loan from Everton.
