Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja's rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner brought the house down at the StubHub Center

Usually it's Zlatan Ibrahimovic who attracts all the attention when LA Galaxy take to the field, but that was not the case ahead of their game against Seattle Sounders on Sunday night.

Instead, all eyes were on seven-year-old Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, whose lung-busting rendition of the American national anthem - The Star-Spangled Banner - brought the house down at the StubHub Center.

Even Ibrahimovic was seen shocked by her efforts, and he later tweeted that Emma was the "MVP of the game".

The Galaxy may well look upon Emma as a lucky charm, too - her performance seemed to spur on the MLS side, who went on to win their first match since July.
